Resumo
Tendo em vista que a evasão escolar tem se tornado um dos temas mais pesquisados nas instituições educacionais e sendo de conhecimento que no curso de Licenciatura em computação do Instituto Federal do Tocantins - Campus Dianópolis há um alto índice de evasão, o presente estudo tem como objetivo principal investigar os principais fatores geradores de evasão, no curso de licenciatura em computação sob perspectiva dos discentes. Para tanto, foi necessário contextualizar o ensino superior na história da educação do Brasil, descrever a trajetória do curso de Licenciatura em Computação no país, discutir o conceito de evasão no ensino superior, fazer um levantamento de causas da evasão escolar em outras cursos de licenciatura e identificar fatores geradores da evasão escolar em cursos de Licenciatura em Computação de outras instituições. Realizou-se, então, uma pesquisa bibliográfica e em seguida uma pesquisa de campo com estudantes que se evadiram entre 2015 e 2018. Também foi feita uma pesquisa documental em monografias de conclusão de curso de outros discentes da Licenciatura em Computação do Campus Dianópolis do IFTO. Diante disso, espera-se que os resultados desse estudo possam ajudar na compreensão sobre a evasão nesse período de 2015 a 2018 e ajudar no combate a esse terrível problema.

ABSTRACT
Bearing in mind that school dropout has become one of the most researched topics in educational institutions and since it is known that in the Licentiate Degree in Computing course at the Federal Institute of Tocantins - Campus Dianópolis there is a high rate of dropout, the present study aims to principal To investigate the main factors that generate evasion, in the degree course in computing from the perspective of the students. Therefore, it is necessary to contextualize higher education in the history of education in Brazil, describe the trajectory of the Licentiate in Computing course in the country, discuss the concept of evasion in higher education, survey the causes of school evasion in other courses of degree and to identify factors that generate school dropout in Degree courses in Computing from other institutions. A bibliographical research is then carried out and then a field research with students who dropped out between 2015 and 2018. Documentary research was also carried out in the course completion monographs of other students of the Licentiate in Computing at the IFTO Campus Dianópolis. In view of this, it is expected that the results of this study can help in the understanding of dropout in this period from 2015 to 2018 and help in the fight against this terrible problem.
